AI Autofill – Terms and Disclaimer
The platform operates as a marketplace, therefore the specific user-to-user arrangements (e.g. shipping and returns) are agreed by the parties and remain their responsibility.
The platform may offer an AI-powered autofill feature to help with the product listing process. This feature generates text suggestions for listing fields (e.g. product description, attributes). The following explains how the feature works, what user responsibilities apply, the relevant disclaimers and data processing details. This document is provided in English for informational purposes only; in case of any dispute or legal question, only the Hungarian version is legally binding.
1. Feature Description
The AI autofill feature generates text suggestions for listing fields (e.g. product description, condition, attributes) based on the data you enter (e.g. product name, category, brief characteristics) during the listing process.
When using the feature, the platform forwards the data you have entered to a third-party artificial intelligence API provider, which generates text based on this data and returns it to the platform. The generated text appears immediately in the listing form, where it can be edited or discarded.
The generated content is intended solely as a suggestion; it does not represent the platform's view, constitute professional advice, a legal opinion, a product review or any warranty, and does not replace the user's own responsible decision-making.
2. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for the full content of any listing they publish, even where that content was composed partly or entirely with the help of the AI autofill feature. The platform's content rules (e.g. accuracy requirements, prohibited content, the prohibition on misleading descriptions) apply equally to AI-generated text as to manually written content.
Users must carefully read all AI-generated suggestions and verify that they accurately, truthfully and completely describe the item being listed — particularly its condition, features, any defects and included accessories. The suggestion must be corrected where necessary before publishing.
Users bear sole responsibility for publishing misleading, inaccurate, deceptive or prohibited AI-generated content. The platform may remove such listings, issue warnings, restrict or ban users who publish such content.
3. Disclaimer and Limitations
The AI model may produce errors or generate inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, outdated or irrelevant text for a given item. The platform does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, completeness, lawfulness, product-specific correctness or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
The generated content does not constitute legal, technical, professional or any other specialist advice. The platform accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content, disputes or consumer complaints arising from published listing content, or for any direct or indirect damages resulting therefrom.
The availability, quality and accuracy of the AI autofill feature may change. The platform reserves the right to amend the terms governing the feature, or to temporarily suspend or withdraw it — particularly for technical, security, quality or legal reasons — without prior notice.
4. Data Processing and Third-Party AI Provider
When using the AI autofill feature, the platform transmits the data you have entered into the fields (e.g. product name, selected category, any brief description or characteristics) to a third-party artificial intelligence API provider (the "AI Provider") for the purpose of generating text suggestions.
The AI Provider processes the transmitted data under its own privacy policy and terms of use; these are not fully covered by the platform's privacy policy. Users may review the relevant third party's terms before using the AI feature.
The platform does not generally retain the request data or generated responses associated with the AI feature for the long term. Further details on data processing are set out in the platform's privacy policy; please contact the operator if you have any questions.
5. Intellectual Property
The copyright status of AI-generated text may vary by jurisdiction and by case; some legal systems do not recognize copyright protection for content autonomously produced by AI. The platform makes no warranty as to the copyright status of AI-generated content and accepts no liability for any claims or disputes arising from it.
Users warrant that the content they publish — including AI-generated text they have accepted or edited — does not infringe the copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of any third party. Users bear sole responsibility for any such infringement.
If the platform becomes aware that published content infringes intellectual property rights, it may remove that content, notify the party concerned, and take such further action as is appropriate under its policies.
