Privacy Policy

The platform operates as a marketplace, therefore the specific user-to-user arrangements (e.g. shipping and returns) are agreed by the parties and remain their responsibility.

This document is provided in English for informational purposes only. In case of any dispute or legal question, only the Hungarian version is legally binding. The platform is used at your own risk; the operator disclaims all liability arising from user-to-user transactions, communications, shipping, payments, data processing or any other activities. This policy summarizes how we process personal data when operating the platform.

1. What data we collect

We process account/authentication-related data to provide access to the platform, and profile data stored on the platform (e.g. displayed name, country code, avatar path, “about me” text, and indicators for preferred payment/shipping methods).

Depending on your use of the service, we may store address data (e.g. street, city, state/region, postal code, country code) and the user-address linkage. We also process marketplace transactional data: listings/products, bids, orders and order items, order state history, product-related questions and reviews, and offer/negotiation data (offer amounts, counter-offers, and offer state transitions between buyers and sellers).

We may process communication and activity data such as order-linked chat messages, notifications, favorites and follows, and product view events (e.g. which user viewed which product, with timestamps/day-level tracking). We also operate an outbound email queue that stores recipient email address, template key, locale and a payload needed to compose and send emails.

2. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to create and manage accounts, enable login, and operate the marketplace features (e.g. listing management, bidding, order flows, offer/negotiation flows, product Q&A and reviews, favorites/follows and related notifications).

We process order-linked messages and system communications (including outbound emails) for communication and support. Product view events and certain counters (e.g. views/bids/followers) help operate and improve the service.

We also process data for security and abuse-prevention (e.g. detecting suspicious activity, preventing fraud), and for compliance with legal obligations and for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims (e.g. transaction records and dispute handling).

3. Sharing and processors

To operate the service, we may engage third-party service providers as processors (e.g. infrastructure/hosting providers, email delivery services and payment providers).

For subscriptions and financial flows, the system may store third-party payment identifiers and statuses (e.g. Stripe checkout session ID, payment intent/transfer IDs, Stripe Connect account ID and capability/requirements data). We typically do not store full card data; this is handled by the payment provider.

We may disclose data where required by law or lawful authority requests. In user-to-user transactions, users may also share information with each other (e.g. shipping details to arrange handover) at their own responsibility.

4. Retention

We generally retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service (e.g. while an account remains active and the user uses the platform).

Certain data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. accounting/record-keeping obligations) or where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

After the relevant retention period expires, data is deleted or anonymized unless further retention is required by law or justified by an ongoing dispute.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request information about processing, and to request rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing.

In certain cases, you may also have the right to object to processing and to request data portability. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time.

You can submit requests via the contact details provided. If you believe processing is not compliant, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Cookies and essential technologies

The platform only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication (login). These cookies are essential for the service to function and are automatically set in the user's browser during login.

The platform does not use any third-party, tracking, or marketing cookies. Only technologies strictly necessary for operation are applied in the user's browser.

If cookies are deleted or disabled, some features of the platform—especially login and account usage—will not be available.
